Gasum logo

The logo consists of the word GASUM, with the letter G shaped into an arrow representing circular economy.

The logo can appear in three different colours: Gasum's blue, 80% black and white.

Do not compose the logo yourself. Always use original materials.

Using logo

Safe area

The purpose of the safe area is to ensure that the logo stands out and is used correctly. The safe area of the logo is determined based on the width and height of the letter u.

The safe area must be clear of graphic elements and text.

The minimum width for the logo is 15 mm or 40 px. Smaller logos are not permitted. This is to guarantee that the logo stands out and it is used in a controlled manner.

Logo on pictures

The logo can be used on pictures as long as there is enough contrast between the picture and the logo to ensure readability.

It is recommended to use the white version of the logo on pictures as the colour white provides the most contrast. If the picture has very light shades, other colour versions may also be used.

Avoid putting the logo on backgrounds with very strong colours. Use natural shades.

Improrer use of the logo

  • Don’t stretch, manipulate or modify the logo or the colour of the logo
  • Don’t add background elements
  • Don’t use the black version on coloured background
  • Don’t use the blue version on dark or gradient background or on restless picture

G symbol - illustrative element

The G symbol derived from Gasum's logo is designed to be an illustrative element in Gasum's visual identity. The symbol represents environmentally friendly themes and circular economy.

The G symbol must never be placed in the immediate vicinity of the logo as it is not Gasum's logo. Furthermore, the symbol must not be used to sign messages, for example, in marketing communications.

Symbol on pictures

The symbol can be used on pictures as long as there is enough contrast between the picture and the symbol to ensure readability.

It is recommended to use the white version of the symbol on pictures as the colour white provides the most contrast. If the picture has very light shades, other colour versions may also be used.

Avoid putting the symbol on backgrounds with very strong colours. Use natural shades.

Color relations

Blue shades are emphasised in Gasum's own channels. However, white plays the biggest role by far. The most colorful shades of the palette can be used to present various graphs and diagrams. Grey shades and the blue shades Storm and Gasum's blue are recommended for texts.

Typography

Gasum's brand font is the Montserrat font family, and the variants used are Hairline, Light, Regular, Semibold, Bold and Extra Bold.

The use of fonts can be roughly divided as follows: Headings and subheadings - use the bold variants of Montserrat (Semibold, Bold, Exrabold). Body texts and lead paragraphs - use narrower variants (Light, Regular).

The thin Hairline variant is not suitable for use in small sizes, such as in the body, as it requires a large point size to stand out. The Hairline variant is spectacular when it is used correctly. Remember, however, to use it wisely.

Office Font

The Office font is Verdana, in the Regular and Bold variants.

NOTE! Verdana must never be used as brand font. Verdana is a secondary font, which must only be used as Office font (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Montserrat is always the primary font.

Gasum Pattern

The pattern can be used on pictures as long as there is enough contrast between the picture and the pattern.

Select the shade of the pattern according to the shade scheme of the background in order to maintain balance. Do not use the pattern with a very colourful or otherwise restless background. It is preferable to couple it with sober and simple pictures.

The size of the pattern can be scaled as desired. However, make sure that the share of the pattern does not exceed 50% of the area of the picture: the picture always has the main role, the pattern is just an additional touch. The pattern often works better as a small detail rather than a dominating element.

Pattern

Remember that the pattern is not a mandatory element and that materials can also be produced without it. A good rule of thumb to keep in mind here: less is more!

Use of pattern

In addition to Gasum's blue, the pattern can be white or granite grey. The Fell and Storm shades can also be used.

The pattern can be used as large surfaces or just as an additional touch in a smaller role, for example, with a picture or pure white.
